To begin, you will need a few essential tools: a heat gun or hair dryer, a heat mat, isopropyl alcohol, a single-sided razor blade, plastic guitar picks, a small scraping tool, a plastic spudger, and a UV curing lamp. These tools will make the process much smoother and ensure you don't damage any internal components.

Start by placing the iPad face down on the heat mat set to about 75°C for approximately 10 minutes. The purpose of this is to soften the adhesive holding the digitizer (the glass part of the screen) in place. Once the iPad has warmed up, flip it back over.
