SHANGHAI, Sept 9 (Reuters) - Chinese shares seen with links to "Metaverse", a virtual shared space based on virtual reality technologies, slumped on Thursday after their recent surge raised regulatory eyebrows and prompted state media to warn against investing in them.

Netflix executives have been working to revitalize its membership growth after a sudden decline in the first half of the year, when the company's subscriber base shrunk by a whopping 1.2 million people.

The gains come after Netflix released the final episodes of the fourth-season of its sci-fi hit Stranger Things, as well as its new serial-killer series Dahmer-Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, which became one of Netflix's most-watched series of all time.

'Netflix's impressive numbers show the company's growth story is far from over,' said Investing.com analyst Haris Anwar, as Wall Street investors focus on whether streaming platforms can continue making subscriber gains amid fears of a recession.

They found that on a day when the school asked pupils and teachers to wear blue in support of two police officers who were recently shot and killed, the teacher instead wore a Black Lives Matter t-shirt.

"The filings are too small to be of relevance. I don't see any real easing any time soon," said one equity capital markets banker based in Hong Kong, citing uncertainty about the rules, including security review for firms with data on more than 1 million users.

To do so, the Hollywood Reporter reports, executives have already inked a deal with Microsoft to power its advertising technology and enlisted Snap chief business officer Jeremi Gorman and vice president of sales Peter Naylor to head the initative.

SHANGHAI/HONG KONG, Feb 14 (Reuters) - At least six Chinese companies have lodged documents for New York listings in recent weeks, filings showed, promising an end to a months-long freeze after an unprecedented clampdown last year by Chinese regulators.
