I watch almost every documentary, be it movie or miniseries, as soon as they're released. When someone suggested I select the "best documentary on Netflix" I started sweating. I maintain CNET's list of best documentaries.

The second Star Trek movie in the rebooted franchise beams up a terrific adventure with a memorable villain in Benedict Cumberbatch's Khan.

Specifically, the automaker said the SCV12 will pack over 830 horsepower thanks to "aerodynamic supercharging at high speed." We don't exactly know what that means yet, but rest assured the V12 engine onboard is naturally aspirated and this is a rear-wheel-drive only affair. Lamborghini revealed the first details on the car Tuesday, and among them, we learned this will be the company's most powerful V12 engine to date.

Untold doesn't just tell a set of sports stories that challenge your expectations of what a sports documentary should be. It tells those stories so effectively you barely need to care about sports to be enraptured. It really is that good.

Still, we spy an aggressive front splitter, fins on the side and Lamborghini says the giant rear wing is custom made just for the SCV12 -- and obviously it's made entirely of carbon fiber. The overall  shape is largely hidden, thanks to the orange, black and white camouflage, but there's no denying the SCV12 will look the supercar part.

Galaxy Quest (1999)

In the mood for sci-fi comedy? A warmhearted comedy with a stellar cast, including Alan Rickman and Sigourney Weaver. The clever premise: The cast of a fictional cult sci-fi TV series are drawn into a real interstellar conflict. Actual aliens are involved, who believe the series is a documentary. Galaxy Quest is a cult classic, an affectionate parody of Star Trek.

There's genre-defining true-crime series like Making a Murderer, Oscar-winning movies like Icarus, incredible nature docos like Our Planet. That's before we even mention viral hits like Tiger King or Drive to Survive.  I'd argue documentaries are the best thing about Netflix, period.

But the nature of our recommendations at CNET is to choose something audiences might have missed, or something underrated. That's why we tend to call out shows like Dark or For All Mankind on Apple TV Plus over established classics like Stranger Things.

Martin, once the world's most famous female boxer, was a genuinely game-changing athlete, but was also the victim of a savage murder attempt. On Caitlyn Jenner, most famous for her connection to the Kardashians, but once an Olympic gold medalist. Her story is a terrifying one, expertly and sensitively told by the Untold crew. And there are profiles. That episode is decent, but the profile on Christy Martin is perhaps more compelling.
