Tesla also makes Powerwall Plus, which combines the inverter and battery into one unit and can push out more power. That puts it near the top end of what's typical. Tesla's solar inverter, which converts the direct current electricity your panels generate into alternating current that your house can use, operates at 97.5% efficiency, according to the company.

NEW YORK, Oct 18 (Reuters) - The National Football League (NFL) announced its first-ever "Black Friday" game will stream on Amazon Prime Video next year, building on the relationship between the league and the streaming giant.

"Thanksgiving is synonymous with football and we're excited to give our fans another day of NFL action during this holiday weekend," NFL Media Chief Operating Officer Hans Schroeder said in a statement.

Powerwall and Powerwall Plus have the same capacity, but a Powerwall can discharge energy at a continuous rate of 5.8 kilowatts or a peak of 10 kilowatts, while a Powerwall Plus can discharge 9.6 kilowatts continuously or a peak of 22 kilowatts when off grid. If the sun isn't shining, the numbers are lower (seven kilowatts continuous and a peak of 10), but still higher than Powerwall.

No other solar product has the look of Tesla's Solar Roof. If you really hate the look of solar panels or love the look of the Solar Roof, it might be the right choice for you. You will be paying a bit of a premium for that look, though how much depends on the condition and shape of your roof.

The NFL already has a stranglehold on Thanksgiving broadcasts, with its annual lineup of Thursday games as common as turkey on the table in households across the United States for the annual American holiday.

"We welcome today's report and acknowledge that though there is no quick fix to the challenges facing the sport of gymnastics ... these are important first steps on a long-term journey of change," Sport England CEO Tim Hollingsworth and UK Sport CEO Sally Munday said in a statement.

(The Solar Roof will provide power during the day and possibly recharge your Powerwall.)  How long 13.5 kilowatt-hours lasts depends on how much energy you use. Tesla offers its own Powerwall battery, which is installed widely by other installers as well. Powerwall can hold 13.5 kilowatt-hours of energy and 4th july kids can power most appliances, though more batteries might be needed for 240-volt appliances like air conditioners.

"Through Reform '25, we must seize this opportunity and make the care of everyone involved in gymnastics as important as our focus on developing participation and performance," said British Gymnastics Chief Executive Sarah Powell.

This means the Solar Roof can be more specifically tailored to your energy needs. Tesla's solar shingle has a maximum output of 71.67 watts, according to Electrek, which received the shingle's specs. Unlike Tesla's solar panel offering, Solar Roof comes in more than four sizes.

The Apple TV HD had a long life, but after hanging around for seven years Apple is finally ready to put it out to pasture. The only streaming device currently available at Apple's site is now the new Apple TV 4K.  The move was revealed Tuesday when Apple's online store no longer listed the Apple TV HD as available for sale.

Last given a specs update , the aging box was still sold in late 2022 at $149, and discounted as low as a still-expensive $79, despite not being capable of streaming content in 4K. Apple gave the box a slight repackaging last year to include its new Siri Remote, but still kept the sky-high price and aging A8 processor (similar to the one found in the iPhone 6 that was released in 2014) the same. 

Optional Powerwalls are $10,500 each. EnergySage reports average installation costs by state ranged from $2.33 per watt in Arizona to $3.41 in Washington, DC. That Solar Roof estimate breaks down to a base price of $8,100 to $11,300; $9,900 for the solar part of the roof; and $2,200 for tearing off your old roof. Without batteries, the system costs $4.26 per watt. That's higher than the 2020 national median price of $3.80 and some state median prices, according to the National Renewable Energy Lab [PDF]. If you don't need to tear your roof off, Tesla's estimated cost is closer to $3.86 per watt.

The Whyte report, which examined over 400 complaints, found that British gymnastics suffered from a cultural problem where young athletes were shamed for their weight while others were handed harsh punishments for the slightest mistakes in training.

The Whyte Review, published in June, showed that British gymnasts were subjected to widespread physical and mental abuse in a system where such behaviour was condoned in the pursuit of national and international success.
